This contract includes but is not limited to: All work as shown on the plans and described in the specifications for the installation of new public sanitary sewer, water and storm main on Brownell Court; as well as the reconstruction of Brownell Court. The City reserves the right to consider bids that have been determined by the City to be received late due to mishandling by the City after receipt of the bid and no award has been made. The bid must be accompanied by a bid bond which shall not be less than five (5%) percent of the total amount of the bid A performance bond shall be furnished in the full amount of the contract ensuring the City of faithful performance of all the provisions of the contract, and the satisfactory performance of any equipment required hereunder. The bond shall also ensure the City against defective workmanship and/or materials. A labor and material (payment) bond shall be furnished for the period covered by the contract, in the full amount of the contract for the protection of labor and material suppliers and sub-contractors.
