Site work for a civil project in Sylvan Beach, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The Village of Sylvan Beach, Oneida County, New York, on the behalf of EOLWPAP, will receive sealed bids for the construction of Wastewater Treatment Plant Upgrade and Priority (2) Improvements in accordance with the plans and specifications heretofore prepared by Dodson & Associate, PLLC, Consulting Engineers. The work of Contract No. 9 - Site Soil Preload is generally described as follows: Furnish, install and compact imported engineered structural fill to consolidate site soils at locations and to the limits noted on the contact drawing and specified herein, including soil settlement monitoring and testing; erosion and sedimentation control; temporary access road; extend monitoring wells; topsoil/seed; miscellaneous work and site restoration. The opinion of probable construction cost is as follows: Contract No. 9 - $850,000.00 Digital copies of the Contract Documents may be viewed at online. BIDDERS OF RECORD ONLY, within 30 days after bid opening will receive a 100 percent refund of the deposit price. All refunds will be made by the Village of Sylvan Beach. The Village of Sylvan Beach secured funding for the project from Environmental Facilities Corporation - Clean Water State Revolving Fund (EFC-CWSRF). The bidder shall comply with all requirements of Environmental Facilities Corporation - Clean Water State Revolving Fund (EFC-CWSRF) bid packet as noted in Contract Documents. Each bid proposal must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or certified check payable to the Village of Sylvan Beach in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Total Bid Price. Complete Bid Bond forms included in the Bid Proposal section of the Project Manual. If a Bidder fails to enter into a Contract with the Village of Sylvan Beach, upon acceptance of bid, the bid security shall be forfeited to the Village of Sylvan Beach. No bidder may withdraw his bid within forty-five (45) days after the date of the bid opening. The successful bidder must provide a one hundred percent (100%) Performance and Payment Bond with a surety company satisfactory to the Village of Sylvan Beach and conforming to the requirements of Article 6 of the General Conditions. The Village of Sylvan Beach reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any and all bids. Bidders are not to include sales taxes in their bid proposal on materials, equipment and supplies incorporated in this Project.
