Site work for a water / sewer project in Mattoon, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
As of 5/5/2021, project scheduled to be awarded in June. City of Mattoon is accepting bids for the construction of sanitary sewer and combination sewer piping on the northeast side of the community. The work includes; 4,900' of 66" sewer, 500' of 48" sewer, 1,200' of 30" sewer, 60' of 15" sewer, and 5,500' of 12" sewer. All of the sewer work is open excavation/trench construction. The work shall also include but is not limited to bedding, haunching, backfilling, compacting, surface restoration, erosion/sediment control, and locating all existing utilities required to successfully install the work.
