Housing Demolitions The City of Mattoon is now accepting bids for the complete and total demolition of the following addresses/ parcels: 2112 Marion Ave I 07-2-12131- 000 505 N 21st St I 07-2-09505-000 This work shall consist of the total demolition of and the subsequent removal of all materials and debris from the site, including small accessory structures, fences, shrubs etc. The contractor shall confine all movements and operations to the limits of the designated property. B. The demolition of the structures shall not proceed until they have been turned over to Contractor for demolition and demolition permits have been issued by the City ofMattoon. C. The demolition of the designated structures and the removal of all material and debris shall be executed in a workman like manner D. All materials of any kind removed from within the limits of the project, as well as debris and rubbish, shall become the property of the contractor and shall be removed from the limits of the project as it accumulates and not stored thereon. E. No sale of materials shall be conducted within the limits of the project. F. Before and After photos and some recorded video of the demolition process shall be taken and the files provided to the City of Mattoon for the purposes of community engagement. This can be done with a cellphone.
