Per the owner, as of January 27, 2022, an award has been made for this solicitation. The owner states that the project has not yet gone out for bids. The work to be performed by the Consultant consists of preliminary engineering, construction management and engineering of an intersection improvement at Ault Field Road and Goldie Road near Oak Harbor, Washington. The general scope of work for the project includes design and plans, specifications, and estimates (PS&E) for a bid ready project, addressing the following major features / challenges. Convert Span Wire four (4) leg traffic signal to Mast Arm four (4) leg traffic signal. Traffic signal design and accessibility.Improve ADA accessibility to meet current WSDOT Standards. Design necessary drainage features to meet the current WSDOT Highway Runoff Manual.All design work to comply with Agency standards, applicable state and federal regulations. Determination of right of way needs and right of way plan preparation, Environmental planning and preparation of permit applications, Performance of soil exploration and analysis as appropriate, Coordination with utilities regarding all utility related issues, if any, Project involves supporting AGENCY in needs through construction including any required plan revision, submittal reviews, and attending field meetings. The Agency will review all the Statement of Qualifications received and will select up to (3) three Consulting Firms for interviews. The following schedule has been established for the submission and evaluation of the SOQs and selection of the consultant. These are tentative dates only and the County reserves the right to adjust these dates at its sole discretion.
