The Project generally consists of construction of a 3-tank sequencing batch reactor with motive pumps, WAS pumps, aeration system improvements, and disinfection system improvements for a facility with a 1.25 MGD average day capacity and 4.0 MGD peak day capacity. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis, as indicated in the Bid Form. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents by appointment at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office. Bidding Documents also may be examined online at electronically And at the office of the Walnut Ridge City Water Works, on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities in the bidding and to reject any or all bids. Each Bidder must include a security with his bid. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 calendar days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
