As of April 14 2021 this project has been awarded. When the sum of the base Bid plus all additive Bid alternates is $35,000.00 or less, Bidsecurity is not required,Payment and performance bonds for 100% of the Contract Sum, including all Change Orders and state sales tax, shall be furnished for the Work. These bonds shall remain in effect until one (1) year after Final Acceptance.. No payment or performance bond is required if the Contract Sum is $35,000 or less Lake Whatcom Water and Sewer District ("District") will receive sealed Bid proposals for the following project: TITLE: 2021 Lake Whatcom Blvd. Sewer CIPP Project (District Project #C2114) DESCRIPTION: Work includes a base bid to line approximately 693 feet of 10-inch sanitary sewer pipe and bid additive alternates to line approximately 438 feet of 14-inch sanitary sewer pipe and 170 feet of 10-inch sanitary sewer pipe, with a cured-in-place-pipe (CIPP) liner system. Work also includes traffic control, sewage bypass pumping, and grouting and restoring sewer lateral connections. The project is located along Lake Whatcom Blvd. in Bellingham, WA. Prevailing wage requirements apply. ESTIMATED BASE BID COST RANGE: $85,000 to $140,00 (Not including sales tax) The day before the bid opening an e-mail with an invitation and instructions to join the bid opening will be sent to all Plan Holders on the list maintained by WCR Plan Center. The District Office is currently closed to the public due to COVID-19. Contractors who want to view the plans and specifications that are held at the District office will need to make alternate arrangements. Award of the contract(s) will be to the lowest responsive responsible Bidder.
