Site work and paving for a civil project in Redwood Falls, Minnesota. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
As of April 23,2021 this project was awarded to Schmidt Construction Inc. in the amount of $830,160.00. The start and completion date has not yet been determined. Trenchless and Open Trench Watermain Installation, Bituminous and Gravel Pavement Patching The work includes the construction of approximately: 2351 L.F. 8" Watermain Trenchless Installation 3827 L.F. 8" Watermain and Appurtenances 136 L.F. 6" Watermain and Appurtenances 131 L.F. 16" Steel Casing 73 L.F. 15"-30" Storm Sewer Repair 350 S.Y. Bituminous Pavement Restoration 3.5 AC Turf Restoration 1 L.S. Watermain Pressure Reducing Valve System 300 C.Y. Rock Excavation together with numerous related items of work, all in accordance with Plans and Specifications. This project is subject to Responsible Contractor Certification. All work under the Contract must be complete by November 5, 2021. A proposal bond in the amount of not less than 5 percent of the total amount bid, drawn in favor of City of Redwood Falls shall accompany each bid. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities and informalities therein and to award the Contract to other than the lowest bidder if, in their discretion, the interest of the Owner would be best served thereby.
