The work consists of construction of approximately 1160 linear feet of 8' wide gravel, multi-use trails and two 9' wide pressure treated wooden boardwalks on precast abutments, and intermediate helical pile supports. The total combined length of both boardwalks is approximately 120 linear feet. Permit Number: NAE-2015-01722 BIDDER hereby agrees to commence Work under this Contract on or before the date to be specified in the Notice to Proceed, to fully complete the Project and obtain an executed Certificate of Final Completion within One Hundred Twenty (120) consecutive calendar days of the Notice to Proceed. BIDDER further agrees to pay as liquidated damages, the sum of $500.00 for each consecutive calendar day thereafter. The OWNER may waive any informalities or minor defects or reject any and all bids. Any Bid may be withdrawn prior to the above scheduled time for the opening of Bids or authorized postponement thereof. Any Bid received after the time and date specified shall not be considered. No Bidder may withdraw a bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Should there be reasons why the Contract cannot be awarded within the specified period, the time may be extended by mutual agreement between the OWNER and the BIDDER. The OWNER's intent is for this projects construction to begin on or around July 5, 2021 and be completed by October 29, 2021.
