Separate sealed BIDS for the construction of: the demolition and replacement of the existing 200,000-gallon Thompson Corner welded steel water storage tank in Hooksett, NH with a new 397,400-gallon nominal capacity glass-fused-to-steel water storage tank, and 700 linear feet of 12-inch diameter ductile iron water main from the tank to the existing Route 3 water main. The water main under Route 3 shall be installed via horizontal directional drilling of a 12-inch diameter HDPE DR11 pipe. The project also includes the furnishing and installation of a new equipment shed. Completion time for the project will be calculated as calendar days from the date specified in the Notice to Proceed as follows: 300 calendar days for substantial completion. 360 calendar days for final completion (All Work shall be completed by May 30, 2024) Liquidated damages will be in the amount of $1,000, for each calendar day of delay from the date established for substantial completion, and $500 for each calendar day of delay from the date established for final completion. 2. Each General Bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of 5% of the Total Bid Price. 3. The successful Bidder must furnish 100% Performance and Payment Bonds and will be required to execute the Contract Agreement within 10 days following notification of the acceptance of their Bid. 4.
