Qualified parties for precast concrete construction work for a new Jr. High School Building. Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of five (5) percent of the bid amount, No bids may be with drawn for a period of 60 days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. All correspondence including but not limited to questions regarding scope shall be directed to the office of CORE Construction Services of Illinois, Inc., Attention: Tom Wal- I e n f a n g ; Email: CQREILestimating @COREconstruction.com; Telephone: 309.404.4700 All other Requests for Information shall be directed to the office of the Architect, Farnsworth Group, Inc., Attention: John E. Bishop Jr.; Email: ibishop@f-w.com; Telephone: 309.663.8436. A Performance Bond, separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder. The Owner requires all contractors and vendors doing business with the Owner not to discriminate against anyone on the basis of race, age, color, religion, gender, sexual orienta tion, ancestry, non-job-related handicaps or national origin. El Paso Gridley CUSD No. 11 reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, and to waive any and all informalities in the bidding. After receipt of bids and completion of the review process, El Paso Gridley CUSD No, 11 may award a contract to the bidder that, in its opinion, will provide a combination of the best services and reasonable cost Successful bidders shall be required to observe the fair employment practices commis sion rules pertaining to equal employment opportunity, and comply with the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act, 820 ILCS 130/1 et seq.., and use wage determination as determined by the Illinois Department of Labor, Conciliation, and Mediation Di vision dated current to the bid date. These wages will remain in effect until superseded by a new determination Bids will be held good for a period of sixty (60) days subsequent to the opening of bids.
