Village of Grafton, Wisconsin by the undersigned Village Engineer that it will receive bids for street construction as follows: CONTRACT # 21-01: -Approximately 10,227 CY Common Excavation -Approximately 14,185 Tons 1-1/4" Crushed Aggregate Base Course -Approximately 6,460 LF Concrete Curb & Gutter (includes removals) -Approximately 10,585 SF 4", 5" Concrete Sidewalk/Driveway (R/R) -Approximately 6,418 Tons Bituminous Asphalt Pavement -Approximately 1,650 LF 10" PVC Watermain & Appurtenances -Approximately 3,838 LF 8" PVC Watermain & Appurtenances -Approximately 1,572 LF 1-1/4" PE Water Lateral -Approximately 1,946 LF 8" PVC Sanitary Sewer -Approximately 56 LF 6" PVC Sanitary Sewer -Approximately 70.8 VF 48" Sanitary Manhole -Approximately 1,359 LF 12", 10", 8" HDPE Storm Sewer Pipe -Approximately 785 LF 6", 4" Storm Sewer Lateral -Approximately 15 EA 48" ID Storm Sewer Manhole -Approximately 18 EA 2x3 Catch Basin -Approximately 3,243 LF Pavement Marking -Approximately 1 LS Traffic Control and other miscellaneous items. This contract is partially funded by the State of Wisconsin Local Road Improvement Program (LRIP). LRIP project consists of bituminous pavement removals, new roadway base, and new bituminous paving of existing street. All work on this contract shall be substantially completed by Aug 27, 2021 with final completion by Sept 10, 2021. Substantial completion for all work on Falls Road, including surface course of asphalt and traffic markings, is May 21, 2021. Bidders shall file Contractor's Qualification Statement 7 calendar days prior to bid opening. A certified check, or satisfactory bid bond payable to the Village of Grafton in the amount of not less than five (5%) percent or more than ten (10%) percent of the bid shall accompany each bid as guarantee that if the bid is accepted the bidder will execute and file the Contract Performance Bond and Insurance Certificate as required by this contract within ten (10) days after Notice of Award of the Contract by the Village. The Village reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive any informalities or irregularities in bidding or accept any bid or bids which, in the opinion of the Village, shall serve the Village's best interest. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the time and date set for the opening thereof, without the consent of the Village.
