As of 4/9/2021 project was already awarded for $2,243,628.95. The length of the work zone is approximately 5170 linear feet beginning at approximately 850 east of Davis Highway and terminating at Lanier Drive. The work includes, but is not limited to, clearing of vegetation within the right of way, milling and removal of the existing asphalt, centerline realignment of a portion of the existing road, horizontal and vertical reconstruction of a portion of the existing road including subgrade and base, installation of curb and gutter the entire length of the road, installation of sidewalks along the north right of way and a portion of the south right of way, modifications to existing drainage conveyance systems including inlets, pipes, ditches and swales, installation of new drainage structures and connecting pipes, asphalt installation, road intersection reconstruction, residential and commercial driveway construction, and signage and striping. Maintenance of traffic and erosion control is required for the entire construction period.
