Site work and paving for a road / highway in Pensacola, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The principal features of the work will consist of roadway cleaning / preparation / repair work, debris removal, to address deficiencies caused by or related to ECUA activities. The scope of work will vary from location to location. The work, including paving area, subgrade preparation, thickness, etc. shall be reviewed and approved, as applicable, by Regional Services before starting work at each location. The Emerald Coast Utilities Authority reserves the right to waive informalities in any bid; reject any or all proposals, in whole or in part; rebid a project, in whole or in part; and to accept a proposal that in its judgment is the lowest and best bid of a responsible bidder. In accepting a bid, ECUA may award a contract based only on the base bid, the base bid plus all alternates, or the base bid plus any alternates that ECUA selects, with all decisions being made based upon what ECUA believes to be the best interests of its ratepayers, in the reasonable exercise of its discretion. ECUA further reserves the right to increase or decrease quantities as may be required to meet the needs of ECUA at the unit price which was bid. The ECUA does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, religion, age, marital status, and disability/handicapped status, veteran status, or any other legally protected status in employment or provision of service.
