Site work and paving for a civil project in Westfield, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
Ely Site Utility Project: install temp erosion measures, tree removal, rmv/reset curb, concrete & rail wrk, pavement, construct riprap swale, lower elevation of water main, install new stormwater management system. GC's submitting bids see additional info. Contractors submitting a bid for the work are to include the following as evidence they are qualified to perform the work being proposed: 1. A current and valid Pre-Qualification Certificate from MassDOT. The contractor shall be pre-qualified in the "Highway-Construction" classification for a minimum contract value of $1,000,000. 2. Provide experience showing work in a campus setting, which involved excavations in excess of 15-feet below grade. 3. Provide valid references for projects listed in item 2 above. Contractor Qualification Highway Division Notice to Proceed is anticipated to issue on March 26, 2021. The Contractor shall bring the Work to Substantial Completion by June 18, 2021 and to Final Acceptance by June 25, 2021, which is 7 calendar days after the date specified for Substantial Completion
