The project value listed reflects the total project estimate. Sealed bid (or at the Bidder option, electronically submitted Bids) for Performing Arts Center, Northwest Mississippi Community College Building Packages. Single stipulated sum bids will be received for all work required by the Contract Documents in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. All proposals must be on file with Northwest Mississippi Community College prior to the opening time as stated above. Envelopes not so marked are submitted at the risk of the Bidder and the College assumes no responsibility for the premature opening of same by any College employee. Electronic submittal of Bids is not required. The contract shall be awarded to the lowest and/or best bid from a responsive responsible and qualified Bidder. Northwest Mississippi Community College reserves the right to waive any irregularities and to reject any and all bids if considered not in the best interest of Northwest Mississippi Community College. No bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Each bidder must deposit with his bid (or upload at Bidders Option), security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. Performance and Payment Bonds will be required from the successful bidder. Bidders shall comply with law of the State of Mississippi requiring Certificate of Responsibility.
