Site work and new construction of an office development in Seattle, Washington. Completed plans call for the construction of a office development; and for site work for a office development.

Each bid must include a bid guarantee in the form of a cashier's check, money order, or surety bid bond, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid, made payable to Port of Seattle. A copy of the bid guarantee shall be provided electronically with your bid. Original bid guarantees shall be sent to Todd Rehm, Port of Seattle, 17900 International Blvd., Suite 400B, Seatac, WA 98188 no later than 10 calendar days after the bid opening due date and time. 3. Bids shall include the solicitation number, title, due date and time in the email subject line. 4. The Port's e-mail server will not accept files larger than 10 MB. Iffiles are larger than 10MB, proposers should send multiple e-mails with the information as set forth in the solicitation above as well as the total number of e-mails submitted by the Bidder. 5. Port will use the time stamp on the Bidder's e-mail to determine timeliness. This project will construct a new "Employee Services Center" at the central terminal mezzanine which will include credentialing, training, and employee parking transaction service spaces in a "one-stop shop" for all employees at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. To create this Employee Services Center, the project will combine and remodel the vacated Lost and Found office, the vacated meditation room, the existing credential center and training office to create a consolidated center and adjacent waiting area for airport employees. There will be electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, and communication work to update the space for functionality. The project will include asbestos abatement and will include "WELL Certification requirements to meet or exceed Silver Level Certification The Engineer's estimate range for this project is $1,700,000 - $3,400,000. Performance and Payment bonds will be required with the Contract. Time limit for substantial completion of the work is 400 calendar days. In support of the WMBE community, the Port has established a WMBE utilization goal of 9% for this contract. All bidders are directed to the provisions in Document 00 89 00.
