Each bid must include a bid guarantee in the form of a cashier's check, money order, or surety bid bond, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid, made payable to Port of Seattle. A copy of the bid guarantee shall be provided electronically with your bid. Port will use the time stamp on the Bidder's e-mail to determine timeliness. This project will construct a new "Employee Services Center" at the central terminal mezzanine which will include credentialing, training, and employee parking transaction service spaces in a "one-stop shop" for all employees at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. To create this Employee Services Center, the project will combine and remodel the vacated Lost and Found office, the vacated meditation room, the existing credential center and training office to create a consolidated center and adjacent waiting area for airport employees. There will be electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, and communication work to update the space for functionality. The project will include asbestos abatement and will include "WELL Certification requirements to meet or exceed Silver Level Certification The Engineer's estimate range for this project is $1,700,000 - $3,400,000. Performance and Payment bonds will be required with the Contract. Time limit for substantial completion of the work is 400 calendar days.
