The Gadsden County Board of County Commissioners will receive sealed bids from any qualified person, company or corporation interested in providing construction services for the following project: Cochran Road SCRAP Bid No. 21-06 The project will include widening and resurfacing Cochran Road from Flat Creek Highway to Hardaway Highway, approximately 1.8 miles. Also included will be drainage improvements, to accommodate widening the roadway from 10' travel lanes to 12' lanes, and signage and striping improvements. Completion date for this project will be 160 days from the date of the Notice to Proceed presented to the successful bidder. Liquidated damages for failure to complete the project on the specified date will be set at $200.00 per day.
