As of June 18, 2025, a general contractor has been awarded. Construction began October 21, 2024. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: This project will include Architectural and Interior Design of the remodel/renovation of the existing Chattahoochee Fire Station. The bid must conform to Section 287.133(3) Florida Statutes, on public entity crimes. Completion date for these projects will be 240 days from the date of the Notice to Proceed presented to the successful bidder. Liquidated damages for failure to complete the project on the specified date will be set at $200.00 per day. Please indicate on the envelope that this is a sealed bid for the "Chattahoochee Fire Station Phase II". The Bid will be awarded to the lowest responsive bidder. All Bids shall remain firm for a period of sixty days after the opening. All bidders shall comply with all applicable State and local laws concerning licensing registration and regulation of contractors doing business to the State of Florida. The City of Chattahoochee reserves the right to waive informalities in any bid, to accept and/or reject any or all bids, and to accept the bid that in their judgment will be in the best interest of the City of Chattahoochee. Respondent is hereby notified that Section 287.05701, Florida Statutes, requires that the City may not request documentation of or consider a vendor's social, political, or ideological interests when determining if the vendor is a responsible vendor. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
