Pre-Bid Meeting No Electronic Q&A Yes Q&A Deadline 02/22/2021 2:00 PM (PST) Irvine Ranch Water District (IRWD) owns and operates an 8-inch domestic water pipeline that is attached to an existing road bridge that is owned by the County of Orange (Bridge 175) located just east of the street intersection of Silverado Canyon and Ladd Canyon Roads, in Silverado, CA. The County of Orange has an upcoming project that will replace the existing bridge with a new bridge structure, impacting IRWD's 8-inch pipeline. In preparation for the County's project, IRWD will construct a temporary bypass pipeline to maintain domestic water service in the area during the County's replacement bridge construction. While most of the temporary pipeline will be buried, a section will cross Silverado Creek. This project will construct a temporary truss bridge with concrete footings located on each side of the creek to support the pipeline as it crosses the creek. A new permanent pipeline will be constructed as part of the County's upcoming bridge replacement project. Upon completion of the new bridge and the installation and connection of the permanent pipeline, the temporary truss bridge, the concrete footings, and the temporary pipeline will be removed as part of the County's bridge project. Bids will be accepted for this Project only from the prequalified bidders on the Project Bidders List. Prequalification to be placed on the Project Bidders List for this Project is closed.
