Each bid shall be accompanied by Bid Security (bid bond, cash, money order, certified or cashiers check) in an amount equal to at least five (5%) percent of the total bid as per Instruction to Bidders. Bids shall be accepted from Contractors who are licensed under LA. R.S. 37:2150-2163, for the classification of Building Construction. Any prospective bidder who fails to attend the conference or remain for the duration shall be prohibited from submitting a bid for the project. Contractors opting to submit an electronic bid will be required to register on the website and pay a one-time annual service fee for this service. No bid may be withdrawn after the closing time for receipt of bids for at least forty-five (45) calendar days. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause.
