Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a mixed-use development in Hustisford, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for outdoor lighting for a road / highway; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The work for which bids are asked includes the following: Contract A-Highway: Intersection reconstruction & adding turning lanes to STH 60 including: removing pavement & misc. structures; 3,700 CY of common excavation; 3,200 Ton of base aggregate; 1,750 Ton of select crushed material; 1,800 Ton of HMA pavement; 845 LF of concrete curb/gutter; 480 SF of concrete sidewalk; 113 LF of steel plate beam guard; clearing & grubbing; erosion control; turf restoration; pavement marking; permanent signing; traffic control; street lighting; minor storm sewer modifications; 160 LF of 8" water main by open trench & 64 LF of 8" water main by horizontal drill; and all related miscellaneous construction. Contract B-Sitework: Improvements for a new street & adjacent commercial site including: 1,865 LF of 3" HDPE low pressure sewer by both open trench & horizontal drill; 2,025 LF of 8" water main by both open trench & horizontal drill; pre-packaged pressure reducing valve station; 475 LF of 12" to 18" RCP storm sewer; 435 LF of 18" HDPE storm sewer; storm water management pond & related structures; 640 LF of concrete curb/gutter; 1,500 Ton of base aggregate; 390 Ton of HMA pavement; clearing & grubbing; erosion control; turf restoration and all related miscellaneous construction. No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least 5% of the amount bid, payable to the OWNER as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 15 days after the award of the contract. BIDDER is required to deliver the original certified check or bid bond within the 72 hours of bid opening to MSA Professional Services, Inc., Attn: Michael Laue, 201 Corporate Drive, Beaver Dam, WI 53916. The certified check or bid bond will be returned to the bidder as soon as the contract is signed, and if after 15 days the bidder shall fail to do so, the certified check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the OWNER as liquidated damages. No bid may be withdrawn within 120 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Pursuant to Section 66.0903, Wisconsin Statutes, the minimum wages to be paid on the project shall be in accordance with the wage rate scale established by Local wage rates. OWNER reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids, or to accept bids for the installation of only those portions of the infrastructure improvements which it deems to be in the best financial interest in light of the cost and terms of the bids received.
