Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Chatham, Ontario. Completed plans call for the construction of a 60,820-square-foot, two-story above grade, 564-seat educational facility; for site work for a educational facility; and day care center.
Construction of the new South Chatham Catholic Elementary School that will be a two-storey building consisting of approximately 5,650 gross sq m (60,820 sq ft) of new construction, as well as associated site work including parking areas, driveways and landscaping. The building will be constructed of load bearing masonry, precast 2nd floor system and Steel deck roof system on Structural steel joists and beams. TIMELINE: Construction commenced fall 2022. Trades secured by invitation. Completion date has been estimated. *The overall project cost has been estimated at approx. 23.6 million by the school board.
