Demolition, site work and addition to a transportation facility in Stockton, California. Completed plans call for the addition of a transportation facility; for the demolition of a transportation facility; and for site work for a transportation facility.
The SJRRC RMF Expansion project scope includes, but is not limited to, the following components: Sitework, a Maintenance Building expansion, Maintenance Building Service and Inspection expansion, Parts Storage Building addition, Maintenance Building Mezzanine (Bid Alternate 1) remodel, and Rail Storage Yard expansion (Bid Alternate 2). Elements of construction include but are not limited to: Demolition, Earthwork, Utilities, Concrete, Asphalt Paving, Masonry, Pre-Engineered Metal Building, New Rail Trackwork, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Compressed Air, CCTV, HVAC, Fire, Insulation, Framing, Metal Work, Racking, Storage, Specialty Equipment, Signage, Coatings and Painting, all in accordance with all applicable codes and standards. San Joaquin Regional Rail Commission (SJRRC) will receive sealed bids from general contractors to provide all labor, equipment and materials for the expansion of the Rail Maintenance Facility (RMF) located at 1020 E. Alpine Avenue in Stockton, CA. To start the work within 10 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed and to complete the work within Three Hundred and Seventy-Five (375) calendar days from date established by Notice to Proceed.
