Project no: 42X-003-001 Design of a new parking lot on a vacant 2.86-acre lot located at 504 W Weber Avenue across the street from the New City Hall Renovations and Relocation project. Work to include asphalt paving, wrought iron chain link fencing, automatic vehicular gates, landscaping and lighting. Each proposal shall be submitted as one packet and shall be accompanied by the Non-Collusion Declaration and all of the required documents and information. The pricing shall be submitted under separate, sealed envelope. Each proposer shall be licensed in accordance with applicable State laws. The City of Stockton encourages local Stockton firms to propose on this project and the City encourages proposers to use local Stockton firms as subconsultants. The Cost Proposal must be emailed, separately from the proposal, only to Miguel Mendoza at Miguel.Mendoza@stocktonca.gov. Late electronic submittals will not be accepted. Proposers are hereby notified that the successful proposer and any subconsultant under them shall pay prevailing wage rates in accordance with the State of California Department of Industrial Relations. A contract will be awarded to proposer who best meets the needs of the City; provided, however, that the City Council reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to re-advertise for proposals or to provide for the work to be done by the City of Stockton. The City of Stockton (City) requests Technical Proposals from qualified consulting firms to provide professional consultant services to design a secured parking lot across from the new City Hall. A selection committee will comprehensively rank firms based on, but not limited to, proposals, qualifications, references, and other relevant information. Contract negotiations will begin with the highest-ranking firm. Pending successful negotiations, the Consultant will enter into a Professional Services Contract with the City of Stockton. The Consultant and Consultant staff must demonstrate recent parking lot design experience. The project will require the expertise of a multi-disciplined team of diverse disciplines to complete the required services. The consultant shall also provide assistance during the bidding and construction phases of the project. The proposed new parking lot will be located on the southwest corner of the W Weber Avenue and N Lincoln Street Intersection at 504 W Weber Avenue in Stockton California, see Attachment A - Vicinity Map. The Consultant shall provide preliminary and final engineering services leading to the completion of plans, specifications, and estimates for construction of the desired improvements. The Consultant shall also provide design support services during the construction phase of the project. Design support will endure through the completion of construction. The Consultant is encouraged to team with local consultants as much as possible to accomplish all tasks necessary to complete the project. Each consultant shall prepare a detailed scope of services based, in part and at a minimum, on information presented in this Request for Proposal (RFP), and other available information. The Consultant shall provide a cost proposal (separate sealed envelope) and anticipated schedule, which accomplishes the objectives of the project. Consultants are encouraged to include items that are felt necessary\ for this project
