**As of March 18, 2021. DUE TO THE SEVERE WEATHER ALERT TODAY, THE BID OPENING IS BEING PUSHED 1 DAY. BIDS RECEIVED TODAY WILL BE HELD AND UNOPENED UNTIL THE TIME OF THE BID OPENING, MARCH 19, 2021 at 3:00 pm in the Engineer Conference Room at the Port of Wilmington.** The project includes furnishing materials, labor and equipment identified in the contract documents to perform all work associated with the construction of an 80 feet tall communications tower at the Port of Wilmington, and a ballasted roof mount system at the Port of Morehead City. The Civil and Electrical works shall provide the hardened infrastructure to accept new radio equipment (by others) to be attached to and installed in the works described in these plans and specifications. Bids will be received for single prime construction contract. Bidders should clearly indicate on the outside of the bid envelope or in the subject line of electronic submittal, "Bid Proposal for: C1520 Radio Communications Tower and Civil Works, Port of Wilmington and Port of Morehead City", their NC General Contractor's License Number and that the bid is for "Single Prime Bid". Contractors shall note that two advertisements are being advertised related to the radio communications project at the North Carolina State Ports Authority. This contract relates to the civil works and hardened infrastructure only. A pre-bid meeting will not be held for this bid. Questions may be submitted by e-mail no later than March 5, 2021 in order to receive a response to all potential bidders prior to the bid opening. The owner reserves the unqualified right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities.
