Site work and new construction of an educational facility in Wilmington, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the construction of a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
This project will be bid and awarded in accordance with G.S. 143-128 and G.S. 143-129, Formal Bidding Procedures. Licensed General Contractors must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience on competitively bid publicly funded construction projects e.g. City, County, State or School Systems. The Design Consultants and a representative from NHCS will be available at that time to answer questions concerning the project. Questions after that time shall be submitted in writing to Shawn Hostetler (shawn@hostetlerarchitecture.com) Hostetler Architecture, 3967 Market St, Wilmington NC 28403, or to Leanne Lawrence (leanne.lawrence@nhcs.net), NHCS' Director of FP&C, 6410 Carolina Beach Rd Wilmington, NC 28412. Bid Security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid proposal amount must accompany each proposal in accordance with the Information for Bidders. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of forty-five (45) days after the opening thereof. The successful bidder will be required to furnish 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Material Payment Bond. NHCS reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive informalities and irregularities in bidding, and to accept bids which are considered to be in the best interest of the School System.
