**As of April 20, 2021, the project was split into two contracts. For Contract A-21, it was awarded to Sommers Construction Co., Inc. and for Contract B-21, it was awarded to MCC, Inc. ** The Contractors are to start in May and complete in June. Roadway excavation and reconstruction, including the addition of curb and gutter along Elm Drive from 150-feet west of Hammes Avenue to Park Avenue. The work, in general, will include the approximate quantities and items listed below: Contract A-21: 1,300 LF - Concrete Curb and Gutter. 600 SF - Concrete Driveway. Contract B-21: 1,900 SY - Hot Mix Asphalt Pavement. 40 SY - Hot Mix Asphalt Driveway. Each contract shall be bid and awarded separately. One project manual will be developed for the project including both Contract documents. Contract A-21: A. The Work will be completed and ready for final payment in accordance with Paragraph 15.06 of the General Conditions within 10 calendar days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run. B. All the Work in Contract A-21 will be completed and ready for final payment in accordance with Paragraph 15.06 of the General Conditions by June 11, 2021. Contract B-21: A. The Work may begin seven (7) days after the installation of concrete curb and gutter and a two weeks' notice has been issued by the Village. B. The Work will be completed and ready for final payment in accordance with Paragraph 15.06 of the General Conditions within 10 calendar days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run. C. All the Work in Contract A-21 will be completed and ready for final payment in accordance with Paragraph 15.06 of the General Conditions by July 1, 2021.
