The project generally includes the rehabilitation of the existing terminal hangar building including but not limited to replacement of existing utilities, abatement and demolition of the existing terminal building, construction of a new terminal building, roofing, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, site excavation, paving work, maintenance and protection of traffic, aggregate base course installation, hot-mix asphalt pavement installation, pavement markings and miscellaneous fencing and gate work at Hamilton Municipal Airport. The project also includes coordination with public utilities, and relocation of overhead and underground utilities including coordination with electric power, water sanitary sewer, natural gas, and communication utility companies. * Estimated Completion date: December 31, 2021 PROJECT LOCATION: Hamilton Municipal Airport, 6610 Wings Way, Hamilton, NY 13346 Contract #1 - General Construction (GC) - Provide all labor, and furnish and install all materials, equipment, and associated accessories as shown or described in the "A" and "AD"-series architectural, "S"-series structural, and "CS", "CP", "DE", "SP", "UT" and "DT" site/civil drawings and specifications, unless otherwise indicated. The goals and timetables for minority and female participation, expressed in percentage terms for the contractor's aggregate workforce in each trade on all construction work in the covered area, are as follows: Goals (Madison County) for minority participation for each trade 3.8% Goals for female participation for each trade 6.9% For purposes of this solicitation, New York State has established an overall participation goal of 30% for MWBE's. The Minority-Owned Business Enterprises ("MBE") participation goal is 12% and the Women-Owned Business Enterprises ("WBE") participation goal is 18%. All bidders must submit an M/WBE utilization plan to the Project Sponsor between letting and award. This utilization plan is required to document the bidder's commitments to employ qualifying M/WBE contractors for the portion of the value of work established by the goals. The Village of Hamilton reserves the right to reject any and all bid Proposals, to waive any informality in bid Proposals received, and make contract awards in the best interests of the Village of Hamilton.
