The WDOC is requesting bids for annual facility boiler inspection sand maintenance services, and as-needed repairs to be conducted by certified technicians for the Wyoming Medium Correctional Institution (WMCI) located in Torrington, Wyoming, as specified below. Cleaning of the boilers and flues by punching tubes to clean and inspect the inside of heat exchanger, whether coil or tank.Check water flow rates to insure proper function of the heat exchanger(s) (boiler safety) at the time the boiler(s) are put back into service post cleaning, Test and inspect all safeties and controls on any boiler feed surge tanks and condensate recovery systems (if applicable). The WDOC reserves the right to make multiple or no bid awards if deemed to be in the best interest of the state. Any resulting purchase order or written contract is not a guarantee that parts or services willbe required or purchased, and the WDOC will not be obligated to make any purchase should it bedeemed that services are no longer required. Purchase Order or Contract Period: Upon final required purchase order or written contract signature through June 30, 2022. Each payment obligation of the WDOC is conditioned upon the availability of government funds, which are appropriated or allocated for the payment of this obligation. If funds are not allocated and available for the continuance of the services performed by the awarded bidder(s), the agreement may be terminated by the WDOC at the end of the period for which the funds are available. All questions pertaining to this bid must be submitted no later than February 26, 2021,by 2:00p.m. on the Public Purchase online bidding system. Questions submitted after the deadline may not be considered. The awarded bidder(s) and the WDOC agree that any formal purchase order(s) or contract(s) resulting from this bid may be extended under mutually agreeable terms and conditions, with the mutual approval of the awarded bidder(s) and WDOC, for a period oftwo (2) yearsadditional years. This option to extend any formal purchase order(s) or contract(s) for an additional two (2) yearsperiod shall not exceed a total of four (4) years.
