Site work for a water / sewer project in Vail, Colorado. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work to be performed generally includes: Approximately 1,500 linear feet of new 24 ductile iron pipe water transmission main. Approximately 675 linear feet of new 16 ductile iron pipe water transmission main. Project includes internal and external restraints, associated valves, fittings, air-vacs and cathodic protection. Project also includes a portion of 16 main that requires trenchless installation. Bids shall be submitted on a lump sum basis. Each Bidder shall file with Bid a cashiers check, or a Bid Bond, in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The Bidder to whom a Contract is awarded will be required to furnish a Performance, Payment and Warranty Bond guaranteeing faithful performance. No Bids may be withdrawn within a period of sixty (60) days after the date Bids are opened. Bids will be considered only from Bidders who have attended the Prebid Conference. Bids from Bidders not indicated in the Engineer records to have been in attendance at the Prebid Conference will be returned unopened.
