Saving Project...

Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Valdosta, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; road / highway; road / highway; and water / sewer project.

The work consists of installing new sidewalk, handicap ramps, and minimal storm drainage, remove & replace driveways, traffic control, grassing, erosion control and other related work.Construction of pedestrian improvements on S. Toombs Street, between Martin Luther King Street and Old Clyattville Road. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days after the scheduled time for receiving the bids. Bids must be accompanied by a signed and notarized non collusive affidavit as well as a signed and notarized Georgia Security & Immigration Compliance affidavit. The successful bidder, being responsible as well as responsive, shall commence work with an adequate force and equipment on a date specified in a written order of the City Engineer and complete the work within the time specified under the Special Provisions section of these specifications. The City of Valdosta reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities and to re advertise. The City of Valdosta is an equal opportunity employer. The Contractor shall start upon notice to proceed by the City Engineer and shall have 120 consecutive calendar days to complete the work.
