“The owner has selected a Construction Manager." Lowndes County Board of Commissioners (the "County") will receive sealed proposals from Construction Managers for A New Addition for the Lowndes County Jail. The project site is located at 120 Prison Farm Road Valdosta, Georgia 31601. The project will include construction of a two-level 60 cell housing pod. The proposed budget for the project is $7,000,000.00. Offerors should propose to construct the project as an "At-Risk" Construction Manager for a guaranteed maximum price. An award will be made based on the following evaluation factors: Relevant Experience, At-risk Construction Management Experience, Governmental Entity Experience, Local Business Participation Plan, Qualifications of Key Personnel, Stability of Company, and Terms of Agreement. Offerors may be afforded an opportunity for discussion, negotiation and revision of proposals. Approximately three proposing contractors will be selected to interview with the County. All costs related to the preparation, submittal, or presentations of the proposals hereby requested for this project are the sole responsibility of the respondent and will not be assumed in full or in part by the Lowndes County Board of Commissioners.
