Saving Project...

Demolition, site work and addition to a library in Hanover Park, Illinois. Completed plans call for the addition of a library; for the demolition of a library; and for site work for a library.

The project consists of an addition to the existing Poplar Creek Public Library Sonya Crawshaw Branch. The Work will include (but not limited to) selective demolition, concrete foundations, wood structure, exterior windows and cladding, roofing, casework, interior finishes, doors, plumbing, HVAC, electrical and technology work. Bid security in the form of a bid bond or certified check made payable to the Board of Library Trustees, of Poplar Creek Public Library equal to 10% of the base bid amount shall be submitted with the bid. Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds, and Certificate of Insurance will be required from the successful bidder. The Board of Library Trustees of the Poplar Creek Public Library reserves the right to reject any or all documents submitted or parts thereof, to waive any irregularities or informalities in the prequalification procedures and to approve trade contractors and vendors to bid in a manner serving the interest of the Poplar Creek Public Library. All bidders must comply with the applicable Illinois Law requiring the payment of prevailing wages, and bidders must comply with the Illinois Statutory requirements regarding labor and bidding, including Equal Opportunity Laws. As of 3/23/2020 - There are two addendums to this project.
