Construction of a new 12' diameter x 124' tall (104,000 gallon approx. capacity) welded steel standpipe with reinforced concrete foundation per tank manufacturer's requirements to provide elevated potable water for the City of New Deal. Engineer's Estimate $400,000.00 Each Bid shall be accompanied by a Cashier's Check or Bid Bond, acceptable to the Owner, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount bid, as a guarantee that the successful bidder will enter into a proper Contract and execute Bonds on the forms provided in the Contract Documents. The successful bidder must furnish Performance and Payment Bond on the forms furnished with the Contract Documents in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total Contract price, from a surety company holding a permit from the State of Texas to act as surety. The City of New Deal reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding.
