Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Lancaster, South Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
Project will consist of the construction of approximately 1,225 lf of asphalt roadway with associated clearing, grubbing, rough grading, curb & gutter, storm drainage, seeding/stabilization. General Contractors must be licensed under the Contractor's Licensing Law of the State of South Carolina. Bidders will be required to provide bid security in the form of a Bid Bond of a sum no less than 5 percent of the Bid Amount by means of certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond equal to at least five percent (5%) of Offer, payable to Lancaster County. Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond will be required of the successful bidder in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and Supplementary Instructions to Bidders. The undersigned agrees to substantially complete the work within One-Hundred Eighty (180) consecutive calendar days from the date of the "Notice to Proceed." The Contractor shall complete the Contract in all its details for final acceptance by the Owner, within thirty (30) consecutive calendar days after the "Certificate of Substantial Completion" date.
