The work to be performed under this contract consists of the following: Construction of offsite landscape improvements along Chino Avenue and Haven Avenue per the plans and specifications provided in this bid package including landscape, softscape, hardscape and irrigation. The Project must be completed within 30 working days beginning on the date on which the Notice to Proceed is issued by KB Home to the Contractor. Bids must be accompanied by cash, a certified or cashier's check, or a Bid Bond in favor of KB Home and the City of Ontario in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the submitted Total Bid Price. Bidders are strongly encouraged to review the instructions to Bidders ("Instructions to Bidders") for more complete information regarding the submission of Bids. Unless otherwise indicated, all capitalized terms shall have the meanings ascribed to them in the General Conditions for the Project.
