The work to be performed under this contract consists of the following: Construction of offsite landscape improvements along Chino Avenue and Haven Avenue per the plans and specifications provided in this bid package including landscape, softscape, hardscape and irrigation. The Project must be completed within 30 working days beginning on the date on which the Notice to Proceed is issued by KB Home to the Contractor. Bids must be accompanied by cash, a certified or cashier's check, or a Bid Bond in favor of KB Home and the City of Ontario in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the submitted Total Bid Price. Please Refer to Other Bid Documents: The Project is described in more detail in the Bid Documents. Bidders are strongly encouraged to review the instructions to Bidders ("Instructions to Bidders") for more complete information regarding the submission of Bids. Unless otherwise indicated, all capitalized terms shall have the meanings ascribed to them in the General Conditions for the Project. Once the Bid and supporting documents have been completed and signed as set forth in the Project Bid Package, they shall be emailed, along with the Bid Guarantee and the other required materials to: odandashi@blue-mt-development.com, aalejos@ontarioca.gov, dwilliams@ontarioca.gov, hmcbroom@kbhome.com, and dhaugen@kbhome.com . Please provide confirmation of your firm bidding the project by Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at 5:00 pm. and ensure that your bids are scanned and emailed by the bid due date and time. No oral or telephonic bids will be considered.
