Site work, paving, renovation and addition to a mixed-use development in Algona, Iowa. Completed plans call for the expansion of a transportation facility.
The extent of the work involved is as follows: Hangar Extension and Approach Paving at the Algona Municipal Airport. The work under the contract shall actively commence within ten (10) days upon issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Shop drawings for the Hangar Building shall be received within thirty (30) calendar days after issuance of a notice to proceed and all work on the project shall be completed within eighty (80) calendar days after delivery of the building. It is anticipated that a contract will be awarded at the April 19, 2021 council meeting with a Notice to Proceed to be issued as soon as contract documents and bonds can be executed. A. Contractor shall be responsible for providing complete raceway and wire systems in good operating condition, regardless of whether all incidental circuits and conduits are shown on the drawings. B. Contractorshall make all penetrations required for routing of conduit. Penetrationsshall be made and sealed as appropriate. C. Contractor shall be responsible for providing concrete pads for all electrical equipment as needed. D. Contractor shall visit the job site during the bid stage to fully understand the scope of work involved. E. Where drawings and specifications may be in conflict, the more restrictive in quality or expansive in number shall apply. F. The scope of work shall include, but not limited to, new feeders and branch circuits and ground, power and control reconfiguration.
