Proposals not physically received by the City of Algona by that time will be returned, unopened, to the submitting entity. The City reserves the right to refuse any and all bids. General Information of the Ash Tree Removal: The Ash Trees will range in estimated size from 8 to 39 dbh (diameter at breast height) located throughout the City of Algona right of ways, cemeteries, parks and the municipal airport. The City of Algona reserves the right to waive compliance on minor technicalities on this specification and to reject any or all bids, and to accept that bid which, in the opinion of the City, is in the best interest of the City of Algona. The City of Algona can select the lower responsive bid for overall project. Total bidding amount will be paid upon full completion of work. Two payments can be accepted, the percentage of project completed prior to June 15, 2023 will be paid prior to July 1, 2023. The remainder of the project will be paid once the project is complete.
