Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Hamilton, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

A brief summary of the work involved in this Contract is for bridge rehabilitation of Bridge 366 - Mud Street West, and road resurfacing on Mud Street West from Paramount Drive to Isaac Brock Drive. The work consists of approximately: - 13500 square metres of road resurfacing - 170 linear metres of curb reconstruction - 90 square metres of concrete sidewalk and approaches - Remove and replace the asphalt pavement and waterproofing system from the bridge deck surface. - Remove and repair the delaminated/deteriorated concrete from the bridge deck surface. - Localized repair of girder ends, abutments walls, diaphragms, bearing seats, deck soffit between girders over full length of bridge, i.e. over pedestrian walkway under bridge and over creek. - Remove and replace existing parapet walls including railings and steel beam guiderails. - Remove existing expansion joints at the abutments, including end dams and part of deck ends and convert structure to a semi-integral abutment bridge - Remove and reconstruct existing approach slabs, including median and approach sidewalks. - Remove and reconstruct top portion of sidewalk on bridge, including widening of sidewalk to 2.0m from face of parapet walls. - Removal and replacement of top portion of wingwall. - Removal and replacement of abutment end (curtain) walls. - Jacking and replacement of abutment bearings. - Install new steel beam guiderails complete with Energy Attenuators at all four corners of bridge. - Pavement markings Documents can be obtained at: https://hamilton.bidsandtenders.ca
