Site work and paving for a civil project in Hamilton, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and road / highway.
A brief summary of the Work involved in this Contract consists of localized reinforcement of structural steel girders at the abutments of the existing single span slab-on-steel girder bridge on Tapleytown Road (Bridge 150). In general, the work consists of but not limited to the following: - Traffic control (including full road closure signage at each access/egress point). - Installation and maintenance of temporary flow passage system during construction. - Dewatering Stoney Creek at the structure location for the duration of repairs works. - Locally grouting reinforced concrete abutment faces. - Installation of structural steel channels and stiffeners at bearing locations - Restoration works.
