The City of Cape Girardeau invites qualified engineers to submit proposals to serve as the Owner's Representative to the City of Cape Girardeau for the design and construction of a new airport terminal and T-hangar development at the Cape Girardeau Regional Airport. It is anticipated that the City's funding of these projects may include multiple funding sources, including but not limited to city, state, and federal funds. All work on this project as the owner's representative will need to be done in compliance with any local, state, and federal funding requirements Scope of Services Required : The City of Cape Girardeau as the Owner/Sponsor, intends to retain a consultant to assist the Owner with the design and construction process for the construction of a new passenger terminal at Airport as well as t-hangar development. The Owner's representative role is to act as a bridge between the City of Cape Girardeau and the design and construction team, other technical advisors, and various stakeholders to provide technical support and oversight during the selection, design, construction and initial operation of the new terminal. The Owner's representative will be responsible for the development and professional staffing necessary to complete the scope of services requirements, subject to the approval by the City of Cape Girardeau. The Owner's representative will include providing effective leadership and management to ensure successful completion and commissioning of the design and construction process of a new terminal. The Owner's representative will collaborate with the City of Cape Girardeau staff daily during the process to ensure that decisions are made based on the needs and desires of the City of Cape Girardeau.
