The County of Cape Girardeau, Missouri seeks to replace the existing HVAC units and natural gas fired furnaces a. Remove and replace 5 HVAC Units with a Plus 90 furnace and 2 pipe exhaust and intake air flow. Builders model units will not be excepted. b. The size of the existing units are 2-4 ton, 2-5 ton, 1-3 ton c. No 2 speed or variable speed fans d. If the existing service lines are adequate size, they shall be flushed to accept the new refrigerant. If the lines are not adequate size, new lines shall be installed. e. If possible, we intend to use existing electrical service f. Contractor is responsible for disposing of the existing units g. Standard Factory Warranty will be accepted h. After new units are installed, air flow to all rooms shall be checked. If additional work is required to improve air flow to some rooms, owner will negotiate with contractor on price
