Project Description: Demolition of site elements at Northeast area of campus in preparation for Building K. Demolition includes parking lot, site work required for utilities / under slab work for building K, soil excavation work for Building K pad, hardscape and softscape. Construction of building pad for Bldg K, underground infrastructure, and electrical service enclosure. A general contractor has been selected. Please address all inquiries to the GC. Subcontractors should contact Jared Wright at GCs office to provide any requested pre-qualification documents ahead of bid date - bidding@flintbuilders.com Bid Requirements: o This project requires prevailing wages be paid, pursuant to California Department of Industrial Relations Prevailing Wage Requirements. Certified Payroll will be required. o Flint Builders requires that all subcontractors have and maintain a valid and active California State Contractor's license at the time of bid and throughout the duration of the project while under contract to perform their scope(s) of work. o All subcontractors submitting bids on Public Works Projects must be registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations. o Flint Builders requires a Waiver of Subrogation from all successful subcontractors. o Flint Builders requires a completed prequalification questionnaire from all subcontractors prior to issuance of a subcontract. This information can be found in the Front End Bid Documents. o Flint Builders' Standard Form of Agreement (Subcontract) will be used for this project. Execution of Subcontract is required by all successful bidders.
