The Project consists of the construction of a production well including drilling, well development, pump testing, and water sample testing. The project also includes the restoration of all disturbed areas. Due to Covid-19 to deliver in person, you will need to utilize the drop box on the front door or ring the buzzer to notify the office staff during office hours. Mail delivery is acceptable, as someone is there each Monday through Friday A pre-bid conference will not be held. Only written Requests For Information (RFI) will be accepted. RFI's will be accepted until 12:00 p.m. (Local Time) on March 10, 2021, at the office of the Engineer to the attention of Norman Gardner via email : ngardner@cplteam.com or facsimile: 585-232-5836. If necessary, an Addendum will be issued by 5:00 p.m. (Local Time) on March 12, 2021, from the office of the Engineer. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified bank check or bid bond from a domestic carrier licensed to do business in the State of New York in the amount of not less than five (5%) of the amount of the bid submitted. Statement of Non-Collusion: Bidders on the contract are required to execute a non-collusive bidding certificate pursuant to Section 103d of the General Municipal Law of the State of New York. Security for Faithful Performance: The successful bidder will be required to furnish Performance andLabor and Material Payment Bonds written by firms licensed to do business in New York State, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amounts in accordance with the provisions of the Contract Documents. All bids shall be binding for a period of forty-five (45) days after the bid opening date. Genesee County reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities therein.
