The City of Gastonia is Soliciting Qualification Statements for interested firms involved in professional services with experience in conceptual design, rough order of magnitude cost estimate to set budget, and grant options to support both a stream restoration and greenway establishment project. The accompanying page highlights the scope and location of the stream restoration (approximately 8,120 feet in length) and greenway establishment adjoining the stream Interested firms wishing to submit a successful qualifying statement should include the following information: 1.) Statements are to include: Project Manager and Key Personnel, who will be DIRECTLY responsible for the project, along with summaries of work experience in the disciplines of stream restorations [for necessary permitting], greenway design, surveying, easement acquisition, construction administration. In addition please include staff education, and tenure with your firm. 2.) A summary of pertinent experience and qualifications for the firm relevant to Stream Restoration and Greenway design for communities or governmental entities. Any additional references from previous clients should also be included. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
