Work consistent with Phase 1 plans as outlined in supplemental attachments and construction documents. Alternative/Supplementary (Pricing) of creation of Temporary ER Entrance, Vestibule and Approach (Covered) Boardwalk. To create ER Entrance during construction timeline. - Demo of existing (2) windows in exterior façade and addition of new (powered) entrance doors for access to ER Department and Main Level Services. - Interior revision of space(s) as found on Supplemental Plans to create entrance from new exterior door(s) into existing Waiting Room. - Proposed work(s) to be completed prior to Phase 1 Main Scope of Work. New Addition of Secondary Entrance Vestibule. New Addition of Ambulance Bay/ER Entrance. - New ER Entrance completed to conform to new Security Guidelines. - Misc. Interior work to tie-in new addition(s), controls, systems and infrastructure. TIMELINE: Tender from general contractors issued in 2022 was not awarded due to submissions being significantly over budget. Further updates may be published if/when the owner decides to proceed with construction. Coverage of this report is discontinued at this time.
