This project provides for the aspha lt resurfacing of the Turnpike roadway. The project also provides slab stabilization, maintenance and protection of traffic, and polyurea pavement markings. Work items include, but are not limited to: 10,280 TON Superpave Asphalt Mixture Design, Wearing Course, PG 64E-22, 12.5 MM, SRL-E 12,555 TON Superpave Asphalt Mixture Design, Binder Course, PG 64S-22, 19 MM 86,585 SY Milling of Asphalt Pavement Surface to Existing Concrete Pavement 7,052 SY Milling of Asphalt Pavement Surface, 2" Depth 45,902 LF 6" White Highly Reflectorized Polyurea Pavement Markings 33,383 LF 6" Yellow Highly Reflectorized Polyurea Pavement Markings Milepost A51.37 is located approximately 5 miles south of the Allentown Interchange, Exit 56, and Milepost A54.50 is located approximately 1.5 miles south of the Allentown Interchange, Exit 56, in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania A Prequalification Certification and Applicable Capacity Rating assigned by the Prequalification Office of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation is a necessary prerequisite for bidding on this project. The opening and listing of bids not meeting all the terms and conditions of the bid advertisement or bid procedures does not act as a waiver or modification of any requirements contained in the bid advertisement or bid procedure. The Provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act of August 15, 1961, P.L. 987, as amended, together with the rates and regulations promulgated by the Secretary of Labor and Industry applicable thereto, shall apply to this contract.
