**The project has been awarded with the amount of $441,823.70** Project consists of furnishing all labor, materials and equipment and performing all work necessary for the Lightning Project at the Gene Snyder Airport Each sealed proposal shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or satisfactory bid bond, in a sum that is not less than five (5) percent of the aggregate amount of bid, payable to the Falmouth-Pendleton County Airport Board. Bids may be held by the Falmouth-Pendleton County Airport Board for a period not to exceed one hundred twenty (120) calendar days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of evaluating bids prior to award of contract. The contractor shall perform, with his organization, an amount of work equal to at least 30 percent of the total contract cost. The contractor shall be prequalified with KYTC (must show proof at the time of bid) for those items of work which account for at least 30 percent of the contract costs. All subcontractors performing work on this project must be prequalified with KYTC (must show proof prior to construction) for those items of work to be performed for the contractor. Prior to construction, the contractor shall provide the owner with a summary list of all items of work showing percentage of item to be completed by the contractor and/or subcontractor.
